General Terms of Sale

www.villavarentia.fr is published by the Company AVA IMMO, SARL with a capital of 20 000 €, whose head office is located 16 rue Edouard Ruelle, 80440 Blangy-tronville, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Amiens under the number 843 228 693, including the intra-community VAT number FR05-843 228 693.

Article 1 / Duration of stay

The signatory customer of the present contract, concluded for a determined duration, will not be able to in no circumstance to prevail himself of any right to the maintenance in the places.

Article 2 / Booking formalities

After receipt of your booking request, we will send you a confirmation letter by e-mail and invite you to pay a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount of the stay.

This deposit can be made either by credit card (on our online payment form) or by credit card.

The amount of the deposit will be deducted from your bill at the end of your stay.

It is only once the deposit has been received that the reservation will become firm and definitive and that you will validate in the same way your full and entire agreement with the present general conditions.

In the event that the deposit is not paid on time, the rooms will be automatically returned to the rental.

Article 3 / Cancellation of the stay by the client

Cancellation of a stay must be notified by e-mail. We inform you that depending on the date of cancellation of the reservation, all or part of the amount of the stay will be charged:

– If cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded in full.

– If the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the arrival date, the totality of the deposit will remain acquired by VILLA VARENTIA.

– Without notice of a cancellation of stay or a cancellation the same day of the reservation, the total amount of the stay will be charged to you as compensation.

– In case of early departure during your stay: you will be charged for the total payment of the stay.

Please note that no cancellation insurance is included in our rates.

Article 5 / Cancellation of the stay by the owner

If, before the beginning of the stay, VILLA VARENTIA has to cancel a client’s reservation, an information will be immediately sent to the client by e-mail.

The customer will then be immediately and fully refunded the sums he has already paid. In addition, he shall receive compensation equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.

Article 6 / Arrival and departure time

Your room will be ready to welcome you from 4pm until 8pm. It must be vacated on the day of your departure by 12 noon at the latest. Please inform us of your arrival time the day before or the morning of your arrival so that we can be available to welcome you.

Article 7 / Rates and tourist tax

Our conditions and rates are non-contractual and are subject to change without notice. Our promotional offers cannot be combined with each other.

Article 8 / Change of rooms

Without the client being able to claim any compensation, we reserve the right to change the room initially reserved by the client for a guest room of the same capacity with an equal or superior level of comfort. In this case, the amount of the stay remains unchanged.

Article 9 / Payment of the balance for the accommodation

The balance of the stay is to be paid at the end of the stay. Payment can be made either by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), cash.

Article 10 / Capacity and Access

The reservation is made for a specific number of people. If the number of people showing up is higher than the initial reservation, the amount of the stay will be revised accordingly. If, however, the number of persons exceeds the capacity of the room, additional persons will be refused.

When you pick up the keys, you will be given an access key to the house and the room.

Please pay attention to your trousseau, any loss will result in additional costs amounting to 250 € TTC. By way of compensation, this amount will be added to your invoice at the time of your departure.

Access to the House is strictly reserved to our clients. The customer undertakes not to allow visitors to visit the premises unless expressly authorized to do so. If this principle is not respected, the reservation may be terminated immediately. The balance of the stay will then have to be paid in full without any indemnity.

Article 11 / Accessibility of services

In case of major force, VILLA VARENTIA cannot guarantee the regularity of the water and electricity services whatever the duration of the cuts or malfunctioning as well as any sudden closure of the site caused by a case of force majeure beyond our control.

VILLA VARENTIA therefore declines all responsibility, beyond its legal responsibility, for any deprivation or diminution of enjoyment not resulting from its actions.

The responsibility of VILLA VARENTIA, beyond its legal responsibility, cannot be engaged in case of breakdown or shutdown of the technical equipment, if the malfunction and repairs were unforeseeable.

Article 12 / Pets

We regret that we cannot accept your pets.

In case of non-compliance with this clause by the customer, the refusal to accept the animals, and by major force its owners, VILLA VARENTIA cannot be assimilated to a modification or breach of contract at the initiative of VILLA VARENTIA. So that in the event of the customer’s departure, no refund can be envisaged and the total amount of the stay will have to be paid as compensation.

Article 13 / Art of living and use of the premises

In order to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of all, the respect of a certain “art of living” is required.

In particular, it is requested not to smoke inside the house. If this instruction is not followed, smoke detectors could be triggered unintentionally and disturb everyone’s comfort. Therefore, for our smoking customers, we have ashtrays stored outside for them, accessible at all times.

The customer also undertakes to respect the instructions of manners which will be indicated to him and the present general conditions of sale.

The client undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare and pay for any damage for which he is responsible. This is also valid for all the material which would be put at his disposal during the stay.

Clients’ attention is drawn to the fact that minors evolving within the house are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them.

VILLA VARENTIA will not accept any liability for loss, theft and/or damage and/or injury to property and/or persons on the property, regardless of the cause.

Article 15 / Modification of the conditions of sale

These terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale shall be deemed to have been acquired immediately upon payment of the deposit.

Article 16 / Computer and Freedom Law

In accordance with the law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, data files and liberties, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. We undertake not to pass on the information you have given us to other companies or organizations under any circumstances.
